The truck is a pick up truck that has been manufactured by the Chrysler LLC. There was a change in the brand names in the year 2009. It was sold under the brand name of dodge before and now is sold as Ram. The company has been producing trucks for decades now with the first truck going into production in the year 1981 and has never looked back since. The truck has a front engine and has a rear wheel drive. The truck alo comes in the heavy duty chassis cab version though the mega cab option is available only in the 2500/3500 versions of the truck.

The truck takes special care of safety with all the major safety standards adhered to the truck also has a disc break system for all the four wheels besides airbags in the side curtains. There is also an electronic stability program. All major standard crash tests have been passed by the truck with satisfactory results.
