The Kia Rio Sedan is manufactured by Kia Motors which is the subsidiary of the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group. The sedan has been under production since the year 2000. The car is the successors of Kia Pride and Kia Avella. It is a sub-compact car that has a FF layout. With a 45l fuel capacity the car is a class apart. The sedan comes with two engine varieties one with gasoline and another with a diesel. The wheelbase is pretty strong at 2500mm.

The sedan has come a long way and has gone subsequent changes in the years that have followed. . The car is now in its second generation and has a new corporate grille to boast of. Popularly known as the Tiger Nose, the eye-catching design has been given by Peter Schreyer. There is a complete facelift and also has a newer better (optional) Bluetooth hands-free phone operation. Besides there has also been a change in the gauges cluster.
