Planned to be launched at the Geneva Auto Show in the year 2009, the BMW Alpina B6 GT3 has the exterior design of a supercharged coupe that is intended to be on the race tracks and not on the show circuits. Basically, the car was designed to give competition to the FIA GT3 European Championship series and the carhas so much importance attached to it because it is the first FIA GT3 racer from Alpina in the last 2 decades.

The car has been based on the BMW 6 series and has been fitted with supercharged 4.4 liters V8 engine that is able to produce torque of 530PS and 725NM. The 18 inches Michelin wheels receive this power via the 6-speed sequential gear box. The car is able to achieve a speed of 0-100 km/h in only around 3.9 seconds, mainly because of its light weight.
