The car glass is the easiest thing to get damaged during a mishap. Even a very small crack may extend over a large area of the glass and may extend into the inner layers of the windscreen. Now-a-days, injections are available in the market that can be injected on the damaged area with the help of special tools to fill up the crack. After this procedure, the crack is not likely to increase further and thus the damage is repaired there and then. Crack of ¼ inch or even 3 inches can be repaired with the help of this technique and experiments are being conducted to use this method to repair a crack of as much as 12 inches.

While repairing your car glass, the position and size of the crack are considered first thing. Cracks on the windshield edges are likely to spread more quickly and therefore, they should be repaired instantly. The cost of the service also increases with the size of the crack. In that case, it would be better to get your car glass replaced.
